Adventure Risk Research Symposium

We hope you can join us at this year's Adventure Risk Research Symposium. This is the third annual gathering of the ARR, held in conjunction with the Wilderness Risk Management Conference (link here ).  Mark your calendar!  When: Thursday, October 14, 1pm Mountain, 3pm Eastern (if you are from Australia or Sweden you are on your own to figure out the time...) Free to attend this symposium - you do not need to register for the conference or pre-register to join us. How: Zoom link to be posted here nearer the date. Capacity limited to the first 300 to sign on, first come first served. We have adventure research presentations from Sweden, Canada, Australia and the United States, including work on Covid practices, park visitation, outdoor injury data, safety climate correlations, second victim research, and assessing first aid competency.  The 2020 Adventure Risk Research Symposium is virtual for 2020, in alignment with the Wilderness Risk Management Conference. A full agenda for the session will be posted shortly. The format will continue to be short presentations from risk researchers regarding their original research.

Some of the feedback we received from attendees: "This was phenomenal. There is an urgent need for this in our field.
