This is the third annual gathering of the ARR, held in conjunction with the Wilderness Risk Management Conference (link here ).  Mark your calendar!  When: Thursday, October 14, 1pm Mountain, 3pm Eastern (if you are from Australia or Sweden you are on your own to figure out the time...) Free to attend this symposium - you do not need to register for the conference or pre-register to join us. How: Zoom link to be posted here nearer the date. Capacity limited to the first 300 to sign on, first come first served. We have adventure research presentations from Sweden, Canada, Australia and the United States, including work on Covid practices, park visitation, outdoor injury data, safety climate correlations, second victim research, and assessing first aid competency. Presenters at the inaugural Adventure Risk Research Symposium Our inaugural Adventure Risk Research Symposium was a hit. Keep an eye soon for a call for new papers for next year! It would be great to see this content and approach ingrained more throughout the mainstream conference." "This workshop was a whirlwind of good information.
