Call for Research Presentations!

Call for research presentations! Join us at the 6th annual Adventure Risk Research Symposium held in conjunction with the Wilderness Risk Management Conference October 15-17, 2024. We invite all adventure risk management and outdoor safety researchers to submit an abstract or research summary for consideration. From these submissions, you may be invited to author a short research paper and present your findings at the symposium. Our goal is to showcase a range of findings, methods, researchers and topics for discussion! Our intention is to find a place for any relevant, empirical research. The abstract or summary for consideration is informal and only a couple of paragraphs, and just includes:  context of the research and research question methods, data set and collection (in brief i.e. 1 paragraph) key findings From these submissions a collection of researchers will be asked to proceed to author a short paper and present their findings at our symposium. Thank you to all who attended and presented at this year's Adventure Risk Research Symposium.
